Fire protection measures in explosion-proof dust collector device
Although dust removal equipment can prevent explosion accidents after taking the above-mentioned measures, it is still possible that partial combustion may occur in the dust collector. This cannot be ignored. For example, when a bag filter that handles flammable dust is in the process of dust evacuation or gas purification, when the smoke cooling device, spray nozzle, etc. fail, the filter cloth may be burned by high temperature smoke, or even cause a fire. Dry dust removal equipment generally adopts the following fire prevention and control measures:
1. In the large-scale dust removal device of outdoor equipment, if it is found that there is a fire phenomenon and the dust collector fan needs to be turned off, in order to prevent the smoke from flowing back into the workshop through the pipeline, the fan should be turned off after the fire damper or air volume switch is closed. For small dedusting devices set up indoors, fans should be immediately shut down if they encounter smoke in the bag room.
2. Once the dust accumulated in the ash bucket catches fire, it can be extinguished with a fire extinguisher and then the dust inside it can be discharged. The discharged dust should be carefully treated to prevent recurrence and attention should be paid to the avoidance of deflagration during the removal process. Clean up the hopper or bag room and replace it with a new filter bag.
3. After the fire is extinguished, in order to prevent the lack of oxygen in the bag room and carbon monoxide poisoning, sufficient ventilation and ventilation should be performed before entering the staff.
4. In the case of dusts with high flammability and friction, the fan should be installed after the bag filter in principle. If placed on the front, the dust adheres to the fan blades. After the moisture adheres to form a scaling layer, the impeller loses its balance, causing the eccentric torque to be excessive during operation. The bearing generates heat, vibrates or breaks the blades, crashes the casing, and generates sparks. Dust ignition sources. In order to avoid such accidents, vibration switches can be installed to automatically control the fans to turn off when there is an abnormality in the fan.
